The circus was the only life that she'd ever known. Growing up as someone else's entertainment left her with an interesting relationship to "free time." She wanted to be by herself. No noises, no sparkles. Just her and the night sky. With a smile he reached behind him to pick up the camera. He toyed with it a bit, and began to take shots of her face. She smirked at him and preened in response to his ministrations. "Work it, Kitten" She left the liontamer's ring and walked back home to the trapeze trailer. Once inside, she flopped onto the worn couch and picked up the book she'd been reading. A story of adventure, it seemed, to her. So normal to others. but not at all normal for her. She looked at him and thought, "A keeper, this one. Certainly a keeper." He smiled back at her in this endearingly funny little way. She laughed and said, "Ready for round two love?"
